This Sauvignon Blanc is 100% Star Lane fruit from Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara. We barrel ferment and age all of it for 10 months and put 100% of it through malolactic fermentation. This barrel was handpicked by my now wife, Rachel. I surprised her at our rehearsal dinner with this limited production Sauvignon Blanc from her favorite barrel. Only 35 cases were produced.
Greeted by aromas of tropical fruit and citrus. Invited back to the glass by refreshing flavors of melon and light grass.
This Sauvignon Blanc was fermented and aged for 10 months in large format neutral oak barrels. 100% of the Sauvignon Blanc went through malolactic fermentation.
